My teaching focuses on bringing alignment between the mind, body and spirit using Restorative Yoga and Pranayama (breath work), Creative Expression, Mindful movement and Holistic Practices that reconnect you to your inner wisdom.
I teach you how to achieving a state of calm receptiveness and awareness to tap into the wisdom of your physical, emotional and energetic bodies. From this supported place, you can bring into conscious awareness the guidance of your inner wisdom. Your body speaks only the truth, and this is what I view as the most powerful wisdom entrepreneurs can access to take 'full being YES" decisive action. Reiki healing energy fosters access to this receptive state where energy can shift, transform and rebalance, and intuition can be heard. In 2007 I trained with Bo Forbes, founder of the New England School of Integrative Yoga Therapeutics. Her work was my introduction to the power of embodiment practices & the innate wisdom our bodies hold. I believe in the amazing power of neuro-plasticity of the brain, and that yoga, holistic & meditative practices are the gateway to our innate healing capabilities & wisdom. Replacing limiting beliefs, thought patterns & physical patterns are where my practice focuses to move you forward to achieving success, gaining confidence trusting your own inner wisdom. The mind, body & emotions, when worked with consciously can retrain and rebalance our nervous systems and help us grow, with out fear, or overwhelm, in the direction of our dreams. Supported in sisterhood this work is deepened further. Creative expression through art, journalling, movement and music supplement the tool kit of my clients to deepen awareness of their intuitive guidance and explore what is truly possible. Elissa is the founder of SHE Evolves:DANCE I have continued to infuse my work with the power of music, movement, and intuitive dance to deepen and anchor transformative change. This practice is a full being movement class designed to strengthen your intuition, rebalance and nourish your energetic body and return you to self love, clarity, and contentment. Gentle prompts, themes, journal prompts and carefully curated music lists guide participants to explore their own natural energetic impulses and are encouraged to let their bodies wisdom lead the dance. Restorative Yoga and guided meditations are an integral ending to the movement practice encouraging a connection to limitless self love and inner knowing. Essential oils are one of my most favorite tools. They are simple, always available and have powerful effects on the limbic system, which house our emotional memories. I could geek out about this forever, but simply stated they are powerful anchors to support shifts in old held patterns and to expand and ascend into new more abundant and joyful states of being. Reiki |
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also supports healing, and is a wonderful self care practice to replenish your life force energy.
My belief is that by integrating the Reiki principles with a regular practice leads to gentle, yet powerful shifts in perception and begins an unstoppable innate self-healing process within dedicated practitioners. Practicing Reiki regularly supports health and results in harmony on every level. Reiki is generally understood as an alternative healing method that uses laying-on-of-hands. Reiki works primarily through the relaxation of body and mind. With a relaxed body, and peaceful mind we become receptive to the flow of divine energy and tap in to our innate healing abilities and internal wisdom.
